How can I upgrade my Insurance plan?
As soon as the upgrade period is open at your company, you'll receive an e-mail similar to this one:
You can check the existing insurance plans in your Coverflex account, in the "Insurance" section, and compare them using the "Compare plans" option. To see the details associated with each plan, simply click on "Show more coverages".
If your company allows you to add family members to the insurance plan and you wish to do so, first add them to your profile under "Add family members".
Once you've decided on the best plan for you and if you want to add your family, check with a ☑️ the box with the name of the family member in question.
After selecting the people you want to include in the insurance plan, click on "choose this plan" and follow the steps in the app.
Can I select the upgrade plan for me and the base plan for my family members?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. When the upgrade period is active, you must select the same plan for you and your family members.
How can I add my family members to my insurance plan during the upgrade period?
If your company allows family members to be included in the insurance, please follow the steps below:
- Log in to your Coverflex Account, either on the mobile app or web platform.
- Click on Profile > Family > Add family members, and add the family members that you want to include in your insurance.
- Go to the Insurance section and click on “Compare plans” to see the ones available.
- In the available plans, check (☑️) the name of the family member(s) you want to include. The app will show you how much you will have to pay each month for each plan. Once you've chosen the plan you want, click on "Select plan" and follow the steps in the app.
Why don’t I have the option of adding my family members to the insurance?
If your company does not allow you to add family members to the insurance, this option will not be visible to you on the Coverflex platform.
My company’s upgrade period has been closed. However, I have forgotten to add my family members. What can I do?
Please send us an e-mail to help@coverflex.com. In your e-mail, let us know the names and tax numbers (NIF) of your family members so that we can look into the situation.

Yes, you can still add your family members to your insurance plan! Please follow the steps below:
- If you haven't already done so, add your family members to your Coverflex profile. To do this, go to your profile, click on "Family" and then "Add family members".
- Send us an email to help@coverflex.com letting us know the names and tax numbers (NIF) of the members of your family you wish to include, as well as the plan you have selected, which must be the same as the one you have chosen for yourself.
The inclusion request will be processed manually by our insurance team, and sent to the insurance company.
Please note: Until we have confirmation of the inclusion, the request will not be visible on your platform. As soon as the insurance company confirms the inclusion, you'll receive a notification and the platform will be updated, which means you'll already have visibility over it.
The upgrade period is closed and I have selected my insurance plan, but it’s still pending. Why?
It's still "pending" because we're waiting for final validation from the insurance company. You will be notified as soon as your insurance is confirmed by the insurance company.
However, please note that the initial date of the insurance policy will match the date when you selected your insurance plan.
I have selected my insurance plan during the upgrade period. However, my inclusion is still pending. Can I use my insurance?
If you already had active insurance with the same company, you can continue to use it!
Why can’t I see the option to upgrade my insurance?
If your company allows you to upgrade your insurance and you can’t see the different upgrade options at the moment, it’s probably because the upgrade period has not yet opened at your company. You should receive an e-mail as soon as the upgrade period opens.

I want to upgrade my insurance with my own policy, not one connected to my company. Is this possible?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. Your company signed up for insurance through Coverflex, which means your insurance is also connected to your company.
